After School Sewing and Fabric crafts, Creative Club for girls & boys, 8yrs-12yrs.
Mondays: 2.30-3.30pm
Tuedays: 2.30-3.30pm
Our Club will run throughout the school year for the three terms.

Our Creative Club aims to inspire the children to tap into their own innate creativity. Under guidance they will learn practical sewing and crafting skills in a fun and relaxed environment. The children are encouraged to work at their own pace. Thus building self esteem and confidence in their own abilities.
Each week we will work within a framework with an end goal but no pressure is put on the perfection of a finished piece the emphasis is on exploring & enjoying the process while acquiring skills along the way.
We will work on fun projects throughout the year using the following.
Hand stitching
Learning to use a Sewing Machine (dependent on individuals skill level & ability)
Fabric art and collage
Embroidery
Crochet
Jewellery making
A little bit about me, your children's tutor!
I trained as a fashion designer and worked for many years in the industry across all areas. Manufacturing in Hong Kong, designing in Australia and as a bespoke wedding dress designer in Dublin. Not to mention the unofficial years of immersion and training I received growing up alongside my own Mothers Fashion design and manufacturing business.
I took a bit of a break from commercial working life while my girls were little before returning a few years ago to reestablish myself out in the working world again! I was very lucky to find an amazing space in the heart of Dunlaoghaire which was to be my design studio. As life tends to take unexpected twists and turns I found myself running Kids art and sewing classes from the Space, which very quickly was followed by Adults Classes in Sewing, pattern design, lampshade and jewellery making. I feel extremely lucky to be working at what I love and even luckier to have the chance to pass on these useful and some would say too long forgotten & overlooked practical skills to children and Adults.
